An original WW2 Small Arms and Special Weapons manual, published by Bernards of London c.1940. It includes details of the use and maintenance of the main automatic pistols and revolvers used by the Allied and Axis armed forces in WW2. Many of the weapons included were used in WW1, like the Webley .455, the Colt 1911 Automatic, the Mills Bomb, the 'Broomhandle' Mauser, and the Luger pistol, and all were used in WW2. Some interesting 'Special Weapons' are also covered, including innovations like the Boys Anti-Tank Rifle and the Northover Projector. Illustrated with line drawings, this manual was intended to provide any allied soldier with the basic information needed to maintain and use any of these weapons. With stripping, cleaning and assembly instructions for each of the weapons covered.
Condition:
In very good condition. The card cover is in very good condition. The text and illustrations are in very good condition. The stapled binding is secure, althought hte origoianl stale is rusty.
