An original British Army Bren Light Machine Gun handbook, undated, but published by Gale & Polden during WW2 c.1942. Produced with the permission of the War Office, it includes instructions as taught at the British Army Small Arms Schools during WW2. Beautifully illustrated, with clear and concise instructions, it describes the workings and use of the Bren gun.
The Bren Light Machine Gun is a practical guide to all aspects of handling the Bren Gun, its mechanism, and parts. It is presented in a compact, folding, 12 page booklet format which is very clearly illustrated with excellent drawings and diagrams, including a detailed colour fold-out diagram of the Bren Gun.
Condition:
In good condition. The card cover shows general signs of wear and use and a few marks. The stapled binding is secure, although the original staples are rusty. The text and diagrams are in good condition, with some small rust marks near the staples.
