A rare original 1918 edition of Jane's Pocket Aeronautical Dictionary. Edited by C. G. Grey, and published during the First World War, the book includes an extensive selection of aeronautical and technical aviation terms, four detailed plans of WW1 fighter aircraft, and several blank memoranda pages for note taking. There are also numerous adverts for aircraft manufacturers and aviation equipment suppliers. This book would have been a very useful bit of kit for members of the R.F.C., R.N.A.S. and R.A.F.
Condition:
In very good condition. The cover shows minor signs of wear and use and some wear to the spine. The binding and hinges are very good and secure. The text and illustrations are in very good condition.
