A first edition of this original WW2 Thompson Sub Machine Gun handbook, published in September 1941. This was No.1 in the Nicholson & Watson Know Your Weapons series. This booklet is a concise and practical guide to the handling and maintenance of the 'Tommy Gun' as used by the allied armies during WW2. Full of fascinating information and well illustrated with diagrams and photos of the Thompson, service rifle and bayonet. It also covers the use of the .303 Lee Enfield service rifle and bayonet, showing training exercises, aiming exercises, and firing positions.
Condition:
In good condition. The card cover is in good condition, with minor signs of use and a few marks. The stapled binding is good and secure. The text and illustrations are in good condition.
