An original, WW2 British War Office handbook, covering the weapons of the German army. A ‘restricted’ document, it was issued in July 1943. Subjects covered include: machine guns, howitzers, mortars, rocket launchers, small arms, (rifles, pistols, submachine guns and grenades), AFV’s and tanks, mines and booby traps, demolitions equipment, flamethrowers, anti-tank guns, anti-aircraft guns, and vehicles. The manual is very well illustrated throughout with black and white photographs. There are excellent photographs of the standard German infantry weapons, from the heaviest Tiger tanks and artillery to grenades, small arms, rifles, and pistols.
In very good condition. The card cover is in very good condition, with minor signs of wear and use, and slightly creased corners. The laced binding is good and secure. The text, photographs, and illustrations are in very good condition, with a few handwritten and other pasted-in amendments.
