A very rare 1928 J. H. Steward catalogue of scientific instruments. The contents of the catalogue had not changed greatly since Victorian times, and many of the items included in this catalogue would have been available as early as the 1870s. An invaluable reference work for anyone collecting compasses, barometers, sextants, sundials, clinometers and many other instruments. This catalogue is very well illustrated throughout and includes detailed descriptions, prices and specifications for virtually every scientific instrument that was in use from the end of the Victorian era to the 1930s.
